Serene lives up to his moniker, kicking it nice 'n' easy in the tranquil Biltmore Fashion Plaza before meeting Dickie Peterson, founding member of the legendary Blue Cheer, "loudest band in the world" back in the late Sixties when decibels were really decibels. DIckie shows us the callouses inside his ear and manages to make the Lightning Round a stream of conscious thought poem with his inspired responses. Topics covered in the "Barely News segment include Celebrity Presidential Endorsements and the Grammys. In a new segment, Death Race 2008, he salutes the people who couldn't outrun the reaper in February. Lastly, Serene performs "I'm a Taker" with footage shot at a biker bar in Pinion Pines, a cave and Food City supermarket which he didn't get immediately kicked out of the minute the record button got pressed. |
