Are you a Creator? Do you Want to be One?
The creative spark of any endeavor begins with a spark of inspiration, a scintillating splendor that grows and blossoms into a full experience. Find your spark.
About the process
Why does Creativity Matter?
Your imagination is sort of like a muscle. If you don’t exercise it regularly, it’ll atrophy. And limited imagination makes a limited person.
The reigning benefit of any creative endeavor is that it pushes the limits of your mind, works out the muscle of imagination, and makes you a richer and smarter person in the process.
To think is to be, and you’ve probably asked yourself at some point, “Who do I want to be? Who can I be?” Well, how far are you willing to think?
The modern world is a playground for subversive thinkers. It is where the innovators, challengers, and creators thrive, and the first step to become one of them is through creativity.
A Timeline of Events
A Short History of this Blog
The idea of Serene Dominic came to me when I was knee deep in a project about the history of storytelling and how its forms have evolved.
The Birth of this Blog
Although I didn’t start actively working on building this blog until some time after, it was at this time when I conceived the idea of Serene Dominic, a platform to spur creative endeavors and enriching people’s thinking.
I came into this world not long after the first blog was created, and growing up I witnessed the evolution of blogging, how it became a a diverse medium with a wide range of uses, from personal journals to news reporting and commentary.
The First Ever Blog
The first blog is generally credited to Justin Hall, a student at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, who created a personal blog in 1994. His blog, called Links.net, featured his musings on a variety of topics, including his personal life, travel, and technology.
